Job Requirements

  • Food safety certification required
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and prolonged standing

Job Qualifications

  • Background in the baking industry or a related field
  • Proven understanding of baking practices, benchmarks, and adherence to food safety protocols
  • Certification in food safety
  • Ability to understand basic mathematical principles and execute accurate counting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
  • Willingness to utilize personal protective equipment and wear designated uniforms

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Set up your workstation with all the required baking supplies and equipment
  • Measure, weigh, mix, chop, and complete other necessary tasks to organize the ingredients
  • Use baking equipment like ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • Safely employ kitchen tools, such as knives, when engaging in food prep activities
  • Implement proper storage practices as outlined in food safety policies
  • After finishing work, sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils to prevent the spread of germs
  • Demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor when assisting guests, clients, customers, colleagues, and others
  • Abide by Aramark safety policies, emphasizing the importance of adhering to food safety and sanitation practices
  • Maintain the security of company assets through strict adherence to designated safety measures
