Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in baking or culinary arts preferred
  • Food safety certification required
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and baking procedures
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment and designated uniforms
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards

  • Background in baking industry or related field
  • Proven understanding of baking practices and benchmarks
  • Adherence to food safety protocols
  • Certification in food safety
  • Basic mathematical skills including accurate counting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Set up workstation with all required baking supplies and equipment
  • Measure, weigh, mix, chop, and complete other necessary tasks to organize ingredients
  • Use baking equipment like ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • Safely employ kitchen tools such as knives when engaging in food prep activities
  • Implement proper storage practices as outlined in food safety policies
  • Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after finishing work to prevent the spread of germs
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor when assisting guests, clients, customers, and colleagues
  • Abide by Aramark safety policies, emphasizing food safety and sanitation practices
  • Maintain security of company assets through adherence to designated safety measures
