Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in baking or food preparation
certification in food safety
ability to follow standardized recipes and production guidelines
physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
willingness to wear personal protective equipment and uniforms
strong communication and customer service skills
commitment to food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

Background in the baking industry or a related field
understanding of baking practices, benchmarks, and adherence to food safety protocols
certification for obtaining food safety
basic mathematical skills including accurate counting
excellent written and verbal communication skills
strong interpersonal abilities
ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing
ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) and wear designated uniforms

Job Duties

Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
set up workstation with all required baking supplies and equipment
measure, weigh, mix, chop, and complete other necessary tasks to organize ingredients
use baking equipment like ovens, cookers, and mixers
safely employ kitchen tools such as knives when engaging in food prep activities
implement proper storage practices as outlined in food safety policies
sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils to prevent the spread of germs after finishing work
demonstrate commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor
abide by Aramark safety policies, emphasizing food safety and sanitation practices
maintain security of company assets through strict adherence to safety measures
