Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous baking experience preferred
  • certification in food safety required
  • ability to handle physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing or walking
  • willingness to wear personal protective equipment and company uniforms
  • strong communication skills
  • commitment to food safety and sanitation policies

Job Qualifications

  • Background in the baking industry or a related field
  • proven understanding of baking practices, benchmarks, and adherence to food safety protocols
  • certification in food safety is necessary
  • understanding of basic mathematical principles and executing accurate counting
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • strong interpersonal abilities in interactions with others
  • physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
  • ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) and wear designated uniforms as required

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • set up workstation with all required baking supplies and equipment
  • measure, weigh, mix, chop, and complete necessary tasks to organize ingredients
  • use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • safely employ kitchen tools including knives during food preparation activities
  • implement proper storage practices per food safety policies
  • sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after finishing work
  • demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor when assisting guests, clients, and colleagues
  • abide by Aramark safety policies emphasizing adherence to food safety and sanitation practices
  • maintain security of company assets through strict adherence to designated safety measures
