Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in baking or culinary roles preferred
- certification in food safety is mandatory
- ability to follow standardized recipes and production guidelines
- strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- physical ability to perform necessary tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
- willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment and designated uniforms
- commitment to company safety and sanitation policies
Job Qualifications
- Background in the baking industry or related field
- proven understanding of baking practices and food safety protocols
- certification in food safety
- ability to perform basic mathematical operations and accurate counting
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- strong interpersonal abilities
- physical capability to handle tasks involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
- familiarity with using Personal Protective Equipment and wearing designated uniforms
Job Duties
- Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
- set up workstation with required baking supplies and equipment
- measure, weigh, mix, chop, and prepare ingredients
- operate baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
- safely use kitchen tools such as knives during food preparation
- implement proper storage practices as outlined in food safety policies
- sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after finishing work
- demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service and maintain positive demeanor
- abide by Aramark safety policies emphasizing food safety and sanitation
- maintain security of company assets through strict adherence to safety measures
