Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in baking or food preparation preferred
- Food safety certification required
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and production guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking
- Compliance with health and safety regulations including use of personal protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- Background in baking industry or related field
- Proven understanding of baking practices and food safety protocols
- Certification in food safety
- Basic mathematical skills and accurate counting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
- Willingness to use personal protective equipment and wear designated uniforms
Job Duties
- Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
- Set up workstation with baking supplies and equipment
- Measure, weigh, mix, chop, and organize ingredients
- Use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
- Safely employ kitchen tools including knives for food preparation
- Implement proper storage practices according to food safety policies
- Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after finishing work
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor
- Adhere to Aramark safety policies and food safety and sanitation practices
- Maintain security of company assets through adherence to safety measures
