Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a bakery or food preparation environment preferred
- Certification in food safety is required
- Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
- Willingness to follow strict food safety and sanitation protocols
Job Qualifications
- Background in baking or a related field
- Understanding of baking practices, standards, and food safety protocols
- Certification in food safety
- Ability to perform basic math and accurate counting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing or walking
- Familiarity with the use of Personal Protective Equipment and uniforms
Job Duties
- Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
- Set up workstation with required baking supplies and equipment
- Measure, weigh, mix, chop, and prepare ingredients accurately
- Use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers safely and efficiently
- Employ kitchen tools including knives during food preparation
- Implement proper storage practices in accordance with food safety policies
- Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after completing tasks
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude
- Follow Aramark safety policies and food safety regulations
- Maintain security of company assets by adhering to safety measures
