Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in baking or food preparation preferred
Food safety certification required
Ability to follow standardized recipes and procedures
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Physical capability to perform job demands
Effective communication skills
Willingness to wear PPE and designated uniforms
Commitment to adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

Background in the baking industry or related field
Understanding of baking practices, benchmarks, and food safety protocols
Certification in food safety
Basic mathematical skills and accurate counting ability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal abilities
Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing
Familiarity with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniform use

Job Duties

Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
Set up workstation with required baking supplies and equipment
Measure, weigh, mix, chop, and organize ingredients
Use baking equipment like ovens, cookers, and mixers safely
Employ kitchen tools such as knives during food prep activities
Implement proper storage practices according to food safety policies
Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after finishing work
Provide excellent customer service with a positive demeanor
Adhere to Aramark safety policies emphasizing food safety and sanitation
Maintain security of company assets through safety measures
