Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in baking or food preparation preferred
  • Food safety certification required
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

  • Willingness to wear PPE and designated uniforms

Job Qualifications

  • Background in the baking industry or related field
  • Understanding of baking practices, benchmarks, and food safety protocols
  • Certification in food safety
  • Basic mathematical skills and accurate counting ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing
  • Familiarity with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniform use

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Set up workstation with required baking supplies and equipment
  • Measure, weigh, mix, chop, and organize ingredients
  • Use baking equipment like ovens, cookers, and mixers safely
  • Employ kitchen tools such as knives during food prep activities
  • Implement proper storage practices according to food safety policies
  • Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after finishing work
  • Provide excellent customer service with a positive demeanor
  • Adhere to Aramark safety policies emphasizing food safety and sanitation
  • Maintain security of company assets through safety measures
