Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One plus year pastry cooking experience
  • Certified Food Handler in Nevada
  • Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work PM dinner service
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions as needed
  • Ability to work in hot kitchen environment and handle cleaning materials

Job Qualifications

  • Certified Food Handler in Nevada
  • Minimum of one year pastry cooking experience
  • Fine dining experience preferred
  • Knowledge of pastry preparation and baking techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to team success
  • Customer service orientation
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation
  • Physical stamina to perform kitchen duties
  • Ability to adapt to varying shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Handles all allergy and/or dietary restrictions and modifications
  • Accurately follows all orders received from the POS system and/or direction from the expeditor
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, the kitchen and the entire venue in accordance with Health Department guidelines
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and execution
  • Communicates product needs to the chefs and the support staff
  • Checks cover counts, BEOs and/or Fire Sheets as required
  • Properly sets up station and performs opening and closing procedures as directed by management
  • Reports all breakage or damage of equipment immediately to management
  • Portrays a positive and professional attitude
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Embodies integrity and seeks continuous improvement
  • Assists team members in learning and development
  • Loves baking and dessert making
  • Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings
