Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One plus year pastry cooking experience
- Certified Food Handler in Nevada
- Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work PM dinner service
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform repetitive motions as needed
- Ability to work in hot kitchen environment and handle cleaning materials
Job Qualifications
- Certified Food Handler in Nevada
- Minimum of one year pastry cooking experience
- Fine dining experience preferred
- Knowledge of pastry preparation and baking techniques
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and contribute to team success
- Customer service orientation
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation
- Physical stamina to perform kitchen duties
- Ability to adapt to varying shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Handles all allergy and/or dietary restrictions and modifications
- Accurately follows all orders received from the POS system and/or direction from the expeditor
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, the kitchen and the entire venue in accordance with Health Department guidelines
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and execution
- Communicates product needs to the chefs and the support staff
- Checks cover counts, BEOs and/or Fire Sheets as required
- Properly sets up station and performs opening and closing procedures as directed by management
- Reports all breakage or damage of equipment immediately to management
- Portrays a positive and professional attitude
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Embodies integrity and seeks continuous improvement
- Assists team members in learning and development
- Loves baking and dessert making
- Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings
