Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of pastry cooking experience
  • ability to stand, lift and bend for extended periods
  • ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs
  • capable of performing repetitive motions
  • comfortable working in hot kitchen environments and with cleaning materials
  • availability to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • able to work PM dinner service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year of pastry experience
  • fine dining experience preferred
  • certified food handler in Nevada
  • strong knowledge of pastry techniques and dessert preparation
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication skills
  • attention to detail
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Job Duties

  • Handles all allergy and/or dietary restrictions and modifications
  • accurately follows all orders received from the POS system and/or direction from the expeditor
  • maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, the kitchen and the entire venue in accordance with Health Department standards
  • possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and execution
  • communicates product needs to the chefs and the support staff
  • required to check cover counts, BEOs and/or Fire Sheets
  • properly sets-up station and performs opening/closing procedures as directed by management
  • reports all breakage or damage of equipment immediately to management
  • portrays a positive and professional attitude
  • thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • embodies integrity and seeks continuous improvement
  • wants to learn and helps team members do the same
  • loves baking/dessert making and being part of a like-minded team
  • is a certified food handler in Nevada
  • attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings
  • candidate must be able to work PM dinner service
  • candidate must have 1 plus year pastry experience, fine dining experience preferred
