Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
  • Ability to follow company core values and policies

  • Customer service and retail experience desirable
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Job Duties

  • Assist the Bakery Manager with training of team members
  • Oversee team members and implement strategies to increase productivity
  • Maintain inventory levels
  • Collaborate with Bakery Manager to prepare a weekly schedule based on projected sales and workload
  • Complete opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Monitor quality of goods and service while ensuring fully-stocked display cases
  • Place orders of supplies based on accurate forecasting of department needs
  • Clearly communicate and enforce standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, bakery conditions, and food safety to all team members
  • Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers, responding to customer inquiries and complaints
  • Provide flexibility by helping in any area to support store needs
