Job Requirements

  • passion for culinary arts with specialty in pastry
  • minimum 2 years of pastry work experience
  • post-secondary culinary education preferred
  • strong leadership capabilities
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours
  • experience in high-volume scratch kitchen environments

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 2 years experience as a pastry chef or similar role
  • post-secondary diploma or degree in culinary arts is a plus
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • advanced knowledge of culinary operations
  • proven ability to engage guests and team members
  • flexible availability for 24-hour operations

Job Duties

  • assist in all pastry food preparation and production
  • supervise and motivate kitchen line staff
  • manage kitchen inventory and ensure proper stock levels
  • maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • implement and uphold food safety and sanitation protocols
  • collaborate with executive chefs on menu development and innovation
  • troubleshoot and resolve kitchen operational issues promptly
