Job Requirements

  • Pastry, bakery, or kitchen experience preferred
  • Proactivity and self-organization
  • Ability to manage through a substantial workload
  • Capability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks within given time to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to accurately monitor wastage
  • Flexibility to work different shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assist pastry production team with mixing pastry products
  • Plate cold meals such as fruit salads and pastries
  • Use knife skills for cutting and peeling fruit
  • Perform tasks in different stations such as fruit cutting, economy packing, juice, basket assembly, and plating
  • Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Report problems with the food safety management system
  • Keep immediate work area clean
  • Ensure adequacy of supplies at cooking stations
  • Store ingredients and food items according to food safety standards
  • Assist kitchen staff with unloading food supplies
  • Help maintain a smooth and friendly cooperation climate
  • Perform other duties as assigned
