Job Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of previous pastry and grill cooking experience required
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday with some weekends
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and carry heavy items
  • Willingness to attend in-service and safety meetings
  • Flexibility to work varied hours
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of previous pastry and grill cooking experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion controls accurately
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

Job Duties

  • Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation
  • Complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations
  • Serve customers efficiently and friendly following established steps of service
  • Ensure food is at correct temperature and visually appealing
  • Use approved recipes and maintain portion control
  • Store foods properly following safety and rotation procedures
  • Clean and sanitize assigned work areas and equipment
  • Resolve customer concerns and report to supervisor
  • Attend in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and managers
  • Perform job safely maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
