Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least three years of relevant baking experience
  • Ability to work full-time with flexible availability
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Physical capability to handle baking tasks and equipment
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of experience in a high-volume bakery or pastry production environment
  • Prior hotel experience preferred
  • Familiarity with standard baking techniques and recipes
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle high production volumes

Job Duties

  • Prepares and bakes breads, rolls, breakfast pastries and desserts according to standard recipes
  • Prepares and bakes all breakfast pastries, breads, rolls and some desserts for restaurants and banquets
  • Maintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage and refrigeration
  • Ensures spoilage and waste are kept to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities and rotating products
  • Follows health and safety regulations and quality standards
  • Collaborates with kitchen and banquet teams to meet demand and special event requirements
  • Assists in maintaining bakery equipment and cleanliness
