Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous pastry cook experience
- availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- ability to stand for extended periods
- attention to detail and quality
- valid food safety certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience working with pastry in a hotel or standalone restaurant
- valid food safety certification considered an asset
- ability to work AM and PM shifts including weekends and holidays
- strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- creativity in developing new pastry products

Job Duties
- Prepare pastry food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
- stock, maintain and ensure proper storage and refrigeration of an adequate supply of all prepared products
- develop new products for a-la-carte and catering menus as needed
- practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
- display and set baked products on mobile carts according to specifications
- prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items
