Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a pastry cook role preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
  • Capability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to follow established recipes and instructions
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks

Job Duties

  • Plan and prepare all pastry kitchen menu items to exact specifications
  • Complete all mise en place to meet the satisfaction of executive and sous pastry chefs
  • Follow established recipes and precise plating guides
  • Organize and maintain pastry station and equipment in a neat and orderly manner
  • Communicate efficiently with stewarding and service staff
  • Adhere strictly to state sanitation and health regulations
  • Contribute positively to a professional and collaborative work environment
