Job Requirements

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees
  • Detect and identify safety issues, and comply with safety guidelines and standards
  • Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs
  • Stock inventory, and perform restocking duties
  • Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Ability to work in a variety of temperatures, both hot and cold

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working as a pastry cook or in a similar culinary role
  • Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation
  • Ability to follow recipes with precision and consistency
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
  • Culinary degree or relevant certifications are a plus but not mandatory

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake pastries, desserts, and other baked goods according to standard recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry workstation and kitchen environment
  • Assist in the development and implementation of seasonal dessert menus
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring timely restocking
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations and guidelines
  • Collaborate with culinary team members to ensure seamless kitchen operations and exceptional dining experiences
  • Participate in continuous learning and skill development to enhance pastry techniques and creativity
