Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of pastry cook experience or degree in pastry arts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Reliable and consistent work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of hands-on pastry experience or a degree in pastry arts
  • Solid understanding of fundamental pastry skills and production techniques
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume culinary environment
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and collaborate effectively with a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences

Job Duties

  • Prepare, bake, and finish pastries and desserts following established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
  • Support high-volume production for banquets, special events, and restaurant service
  • Organize and maintain pastry stations, ensuring ingredients and tools are properly stocked and stored
  • Assist with prep tasks, including scaling ingredients, mixing doughs and batters, preparing fillings, sauces, and garnishes
  • Collaborate with the Pastry Chef and culinary team to meet production timelines and service needs
  • Stock, maintain and ensure proper storage and refrigeration of an adequate supply of all prepared product
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local, and company regulations
