Job Requirements

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to move throughout the business (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods
  • Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to regularly move objects up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and noisy environments

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience as a Pastry Cook
  • Prior pastry experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to handle dietary restrictions
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Follow all prep lists created by Pastry Chef, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef
  • Measure all ingredients properly and strictly follow all recipes
  • Handle all food items and follow Department of Health guidelines for potentially hazardous food items
  • Properly set up dessert station maintaining all par levels
  • Keep station and tools sanitized
  • Rotate all prep stock and properly label and date all products ensuring FIFO and company standards
  • Organize and clean walk-ins
  • Handle all dietary restrictions
  • Accurately handle all orders from the POS system in a timely manner
  • Communicate all product needs to Chef team
  • Report damaged or defective equipment to management
  • Complete all required Jolt checklists
  • Work with safety as a priority and follow department and company safety standards
  • Maintain relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training
