Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in baking or pastry preparation preferred
  • ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
  • capacity to stand for extended periods
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to lift and carry kitchen equipment
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitary standards

Job Qualifications

  • prior experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen preferred
  • knowledge of pastry techniques and kitchen equipment

Job Duties

  • Prepare all pastry products according to pastry standards
  • assist higher-level bakers in daily tasks
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry station
  • support kitchen team with food prep as needed
  • adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • follow instructions and assignments given by the Chef
  • contribute to maintaining a positive work environment
