Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-year experience in bakery or pastry culinary food service
- Active health card
- Ability to work in various kitchen environments with varying noise, temperature and air quality
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English
- Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Capability to transport, push, pull and maneuver items weighing up to 150 lbs
- Ability to comply with policies, procedures and safety standards
- Tolerance for exposure to cleaning chemicals
- Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
- Basic math skills
Job Qualifications
- Must have a minimum 1-year experience in bakery or pastry culinary food service
- Demonstrated good knife skills
- Understanding of culinary terms and techniques
- Ability to foster teamwork and provide excellent guest service
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, colleagues, and guests
- Holds an active health card
Job Duties
- Prep and execute all menu items according to standards, station, restaurant or kitchen as directed by the Master cooks, Chef de Parties, Sous Chefs and Chefs
- Work in a clean, safe and organized manner
- Maintain proper fire and ticket times
- Assist with replacing daily requisitions and rotating and storing them
- Restocks dishes and silverware as required
- Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management
