Job Duties

  • Plan, prep, set up, and prepare quality pastry and baked goods
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of work areas
  • Follow state sanitation and health regulations and hotel requirements
  • Collaborate with Pastry Chef and Sous Chef to review assignments and business levels
  • Prepare and produce dessert menu items for restaurants, room service, and banquets
  • Produce centerpieces for banquets and buffets
  • Display items attractively and maintain proper storage procedures
  • Inform Sous Chef of shortages and review work status before leaving
  • Maintain positive guest relations
