Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Food Handler's Card may be required
  • Ability to perform advanced cooking techniques
  • Ability to maintain kitchen sanitation
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, holidays, and overtime
  • Physical ability to lift up to and over 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions
  • Commitment to safety and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge of advanced cooking techniques and baking procedures
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Job Duties

  • Perform cooking procedures such as sauté, braising, wood fire grilling, frying, blanching, emulsifying, flat bread oven baking, poaching, and steaming in the outlet kitchen
  • Perform baking procedures including baking, measuring, tempering, and proofing in the pastry kitchen
  • Utilize advanced knife skills including roll cut, brunoise, and macedoine in food preparation and production
  • Communicate timing with other stations to ensure coordinated meal delivery and accuracy in banquet orders
  • Produce food items according to recipe cards and established plate presentations
  • Clean and organize walk-in coolers, food production areas, equipment, and general kitchen areas
  • Provide support to the front line following management guidelines
  • Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and sanitation guidelines
  • Work competently at each station in the kitchen
  • Perform other duties as assigned
