Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Less than one year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • Ability to comply with food safety standards and procedures
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Willingness to perform additional reasonable duties as assigned

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  • Prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Use baking and measuring equipment safely and appropriately
  • Ensure compliance with food safety handling and personal hygiene procedures
  • Check kitchen appliance and food temperatures and report issues
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, set-up and break-down work station
  • Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout shift
  • Follow company policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • Maintain professional appearance and uphold confidentiality
  • Communicate professionally and support team goals
  • Move and handle objects up to 25 pounds safely
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
