Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Less than one year related work experience
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to work on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees
- Ability to follow all company policies and procedures
- Must adhere to personal hygiene and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Less than one year related work experience
- No supervisory experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation procedures
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
- Prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Safely operate baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances
- Follow food safety handling and personal hygiene policies
- Check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, report issues to management
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area, set-up and break-down work station, follow sanitation and cleaning procedures
- Monitor quality of food prepared and portions served throughout shift
