Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Less than one year related work experience
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees
  • Ability to follow all company policies and procedures
  • Must adhere to personal hygiene and safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Less than one year related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation procedures

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
  • Prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Safely operate baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances
  • Follow food safety handling and personal hygiene policies
  • Check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, report issues to management
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, set-up and break-down work station, follow sanitation and cleaning procedures
  • Monitor quality of food prepared and portions served throughout shift
