Job Requirements

  • Less than one year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to stand, move, lift and perform physical kitchen tasks
  • Must follow food safety and hygiene policies
  • Must maintain professional personal appearance and uniform
  • Must be able to report safety issues

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing food prior to cooking
  • Use kitchen tools, ovens, and appliances safely and appropriately
  • Follow and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene policies, including personal hygiene procedures
  • Monitor and verify correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, reporting issues to management
  • Wash and sanitize kitchen areas
  • maintain workstation cleanliness and organization
  • Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the workday
  • Comply with company policies including safety protocols
