Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Less than 1-year related work experience
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Compliance with safety and security policies
  • Ability to communicate professionally
  • Willingness to follow company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Less than 1-year related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • Ability to speak and communicate clearly and professionally
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Use baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances safely
  • Follow food safety handling policies and personal hygiene procedures
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, set-up and break-down workstations, and comply with sanitation procedures
  • Monitor quality of food prepared and portions served
  • Report safety issues to management
