Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Less than 1-year related work experience
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Compliance with safety and security policies
- Ability to communicate professionally
- Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Less than 1-year related work experience
- No supervisory experience
- Ability to speak and communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
- Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Use baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances safely
- Follow food safety handling policies and personal hygiene procedures
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area, set-up and break-down workstations, and comply with sanitation procedures
- Monitor quality of food prepared and portions served
- Report safety issues to management
