Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
  • less than 1 year of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience
  • ability to follow food safety handling policies
  • ability to safely use kitchen equipment
  • ability to communicate professionally
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds
  • willingness to work evening shifts

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  • prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing
  • use baking and measuring tools and equipment safely
  • comply with food safety handling policies and personal hygiene procedures
  • check and monitor temperatures of kitchen appliances and food
  • wash and disinfect kitchen area and maintain sanitation
  • monitor food quality and portions during shift
  • set up and break down workstations
  • follow company policies on safety, security, and appearance
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • develop positive working relationships with team members
  • perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and moving over varied surfaces
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
