Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Less than 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, twist, and reach as necessary
  • Willingness to follow instructions and perform other reasonable duties

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing before use
  • Use kitchen tools and appliances safely and properly
  • Follow and ensure compliance with food safety and personal hygiene procedures
  • Check and maintain correct temperatures of cooking equipment and food, reporting any issues to management
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen area and maintain hygiene standards
  • Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the shift
