Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Less than one year of related work experience
  • Ability to work full time
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to move, lift, push, pull, or position objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing
  • Use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances safely and appropriately for measuring and baking
  • Follow food safety and personal hygiene policies and procedures
  • Monitor and ensure proper cooking and food temperatures and report issues to management
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and organize workstations
  • Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the work shift
