Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Less than one year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • No certifications required
  • Ability to safely lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand, bend, stretch, twist, and perform physical labor for extended periods
  • Must comply with safety and hygiene procedures
  • Availability for full-time schedule
  • Must be able to work on-site at Fort Lauderdale location

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation requirements
  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing before use
  • Use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances safely for measuring and baking
  • Follow and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene policies, including personal hygiene
  • Monitor and report appliance and food temperatures to management
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, establish and divide workstations
  • Oversee food quality and portion control during shifts
  • Adhere to company policies including safety, report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • Maintain professional appearance and safeguard company assets
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and handle phone protocols
  • Build and maintain positive work relationships and support team goals
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and moving objects up to 25 pounds
  • Execute additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
