Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • culinary degree preferred
  • minimum 1 year of pastry cooking experience
  • knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • good manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent
  • previous pastry cooking experience in a hotel or similar setting
  • strong knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures
  • ability to work independently on assigned stations
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow recipes and standards precisely
  • willingness to learn and take direction

Job Duties

  • Prepare all pastry products as trained in accordance to Pastry Shop standards
  • assist higher level bakers as needed
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry stations
  • ensure quality control and presentation of all baked goods
  • manage inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
  • collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff
  • adhere to health and safety regulations
