Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in baking and pastry preparation
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Prepares all food items according to standard recipes and ensuring production requirements are met for all aspects of banquet, outlet desserts, breads and breakfast pastries
- Monitoring age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain highest quality
- Keeps all refrigeration equipment, storage and working areas clean and clutter free, complying with Health Department regulations
- Reads and employs math skills to follow recipes
- Assists in the production of bakery and pastry items including bread, breakfast pastries, desserts, cakes and cookies for banquets, brunch and outlets
- Maintains quality control of all required baked goods
- Sets up food for service ensuring presentation standards are met
