Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of relevant culinary experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Willingness to adhere to local and state health codes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, crowded and noisy casino environment
  • Ability to obtain gaming licensure through background check including credit, criminal, and drug screening

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary Arts degree preferred
  • Two years of experience in a similar role or equivalent education and experience
  • Knowledge of full pastry menu and techniques
  • Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to company values such as integrity, respect, and accountability

Job Duties

  • Assist in the preparation of cakes, cookies, pies, puddings or desserts according to recipes
  • Maintain Bake Shop cleanliness and sanitation in compliance with health department codes
  • Control the function of their section and assist in contributing to Food and Beverage Department profit
  • Recreate recipes, techniques, and menu items as directed by management
  • Conduct on-the-job training sessions with all staff
  • Prepare daily food requirements and specials for their section
  • Communicate with chefs to order proper quantities for upcoming shifts
