Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and preparation checklists
- Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing before use
- Use kitchen tools and appliances safely and appropriately for measuring and baking
- Follow and enforce food safety and personal hygiene policies and procedures
- Check and ensure correct temperature of kitchen appliances and foods, reporting issues to management
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, set up and divide workstations, and adhere to hygiene and cleaning protocols
- Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the work shift
- Comply with all company policies and safety procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions
- Maintain a neat professional appearance and confidentiality of company information
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and handle telephone calls according to protocol
- Foster positive working relationships and support team goals
- Follow quality expectations and standards
- Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
- Navigate surfaces that may be inclined, uneven, or slippery
- Stretch, bend, twist, stoop, and stand or walk for extended periods
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
