Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Less than one year of related work experience
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk and work for extended periods
  • Ability to work on uneven or slippery surfaces
  • Ability to bend, stretch and perform physical tasks
  • Willingness to follow safety and hygiene procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Less than one year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Basic knife skills and knowledge of kitchen safety
  • Ability to follow recipes and food preparation guidelines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping and storing before use
  • Safely and properly use kitchen tools, equipment and appliances
  • Follow and enforce food safety and personal hygiene policies
  • Monitor appliance and food temperatures and report issues
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen area and maintain workstation organization
  • Communicate professionally and support team goals
