Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in pastry and bakery
  • current california food handlers certification
  • ability to work flexible and long hours
  • capability to exert up to 75 pounds of force occasionally
  • ability to stand during entire shift
  • ability to withstand temperature variations
  • ability to work outdoors
  • adherence to company appearance and uniform standards

Job Qualifications

  • experience in pastry and bakery is required
  • experience in resort or related hospitality field preferred
  • current food handlers certification in compliance with California laws required

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company's service culture - 4 keys to creating guests for life
  • participate in team member referral program and be a talent ambassador
  • attend all required meetings and training
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance and proper uniform
  • produce baked goods including breakfast pastries, breads, cakes, cold desserts, and various pastries to resort standards
  • follow recipes and measure ingredients accurately
  • operate commercial kitchen and bake shop equipment safely
  • handle individual banquet event or single outlet production
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation at workstations and throughout work areas
  • assist in training new employees
  • comply with all resort policies and safety rules
  • perform other duties as requested by management
