Job Requirements

  • minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in pastry and bakery production
  • current food handlers certification in compliance with California laws
  • ability to follow recipes and handle kitchen equipment safely
  • physical capability to stand for entire shifts and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
  • willingness to work flexible and long hours
  • ability to maintain personal grooming and wear designated uniform

Job Qualifications

  • experience in a resort or a related field preferred
  • experience in pastry/bakery is required
  • current food handlers certification in compliance with California laws is required

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company’s service culture – 4 keys to creating guests for life
  • actively participate in team member referral program and be a talent ambassador for Silverado Resort
  • participate in all resort required meetings and trainings
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag
  • participate in production and quality of baked goods such as breakfast pastries, breads, cakes, cold desserts, and other various pastries to meet resort standards
  • follow recipes and measure ingredients correctly
  • operate all commercial kitchen and bake shop equipment correctly and safely
  • be responsible for individual BEO and/or single outlet production
  • maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation at workstation and other work areas
  • assist in training new employees as needed
  • abide by all resort policies and safety rules
  • perform other duties as requested by management
