Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation guidelines and food preparation checklist
  • prepare ingredients for cooking by portioning, chopping and storing before use
  • safely and properly use tools, equipment and appliances for measuring and baking
  • follow and ensure compliance with food handling safety policies and hygiene procedures
  • check and ensure proper temperature of kitchen appliances and food, reporting any issues to management
  • wash and sanitize kitchen areas
  • set up and divide workstations while following hygiene and cleaning procedures
  • monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the shift
  • comply with company policies and safety procedures, report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions
  • complete full safety trainings and certifications
  • maintain clean, professional appearance and uniform
  • protect confidential company information and assets
  • communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and answer phones using proper protocol
  • cultivate positive working relationships and support the team to achieve common goals
  • adhere to quality expectations and standards
  • move, lift, transport, push, pull and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • navigate inclined, uneven or slippery surfaces
  • stretch above the head and below the knees, including bending, twisting, turning and stooping
  • stand, sit or walk for extended periods
  • perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
