Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of pastry cook experience
  • Ability to perform basic and intermediate pastry cooking skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to follow safety and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of previous pastry cook experience
  • Culinary pastry degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to perform all basic and intermediate pastry cooking skills
  • Track record of delivering exceptional guest or client experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Perform all prep as assigned by Pastry Chef
  • Properly set up station according to guidelines
  • Master assigned station and assist others as needed
  • Monitor food quality
  • Prepare dishes according to guidelines
  • Maintain cooking technique and presentation standards
  • Complete special projects and deep cleaning as assigned by Pastry Chef
  • Return all items to their zoned locations
  • Clean and stock station before checking out with Pastry Chef
  • Deliver passionate and engaging service to guests
  • Build solid relationship with colleagues
  • Treat colleagues with respect and dignity
  • Perform other duties as assigned
