Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation, and food preparation checklists
  • prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing before use
  • safely and properly use kitchen tools, baking equipment, and appliances to measure and bake
  • follow and ensure compliance with food handling safety policies and personal hygiene procedures
  • check and ensure proper appliance and food temperatures, reporting any issues to management
  • wash and sanitize kitchen areas and maintain cleanliness procedures
  • monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the workday
  • comply with company safety policies and report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • complete required safety trainings and certifications
  • maintain proper uniform and appearance
  • communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues
  • maintain positive working relationships and support team objectives
  • perform physical tasks including moving and lifting items up to 25 pounds
  • follow supervisor-assigned reasonable duties
