Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- less than 1 year related work experience
- no supervisory experience
- ability to follow food safety and hygiene protocols
- physical capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and stand for extended periods
- ability to maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- effective communication skills
- willingness to perform other reasonable duties as assigned

- basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and culinary methods
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
- prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping and storing food
- safely use baking and measuring tools, equipment and appliances
- follow and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene procedures
- check and report correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food
- wash and disinfect kitchen areas and set-up and break-down workstations
- monitor food quality and portions throughout the shift
