Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • less than one year of related work experience
  • able to lift, push, pull, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • capable of stretching, bending, twisting, and reaching overhead
  • able to work on inclined, uneven or slippery surfaces
  • open availability for work shifts including weekends
  • adherence to company safety and hygiene policies

Job Qualifications

  • general educational development certificate (GED)
  • less than one year of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience required
  • no licenses or certifications required
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards and presentation
  • prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping and storing before use
  • safely and properly use kitchen tools, equipment and appliances for measuring and baking
  • follow and ensure compliance with food handling safety policies including personal hygiene procedures
  • check and confirm appropriate temperatures of kitchen equipment and food, report issues to management
  • clean and sanitize kitchen area, set up and divide workstations, adhere to hygiene and cleaning procedures
  • monitor quality of prepared food and served portions during shifts
  • comply with all company policies and safety procedures, report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions
  • complete safety trainings and certifications
  • maintain professional appearance and uphold confidentiality
  • communicate clearly and professionally including proper phone protocols
  • foster positive working relationships and support team goals
  • comply with quality expectations and standards
  • move and lift objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • navigate inclined, uneven or slippery surfaces safely
  • perform other reasonable work duties assigned by supervisors
