Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Less than 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift or move objects up to 25 pounds
  • Willingness to comply with safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work in fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Less than 1 year related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow food safety procedures
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping and storing food before use
  • Safely use baking and measuring tools, equipment and appliances to prepare baked foods
  • Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures
  • Check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food and report issues to management
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, set-up and break-down work station
  • Monitor the quality of food prepared and portions served throughout shift
