Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Less than 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience
- Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift or move objects up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to comply with safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Less than 1 year related work experience
- No supervisory experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow food safety procedures
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
- Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping and storing food before use
- Safely use baking and measuring tools, equipment and appliances to prepare baked foods
- Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures
- Check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food and report issues to management
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area, set-up and break-down work station
- Monitor the quality of food prepared and portions served throughout shift
