Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a pastry cook or similar role in a professional kitchen
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local food safety regulations
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- Physical ability to stand and work for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts

- Solid knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Previous experience in a high-volume, professional kitchen environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently under time-sensitive conditions
- Familiarity with food storage and sanitation standards

Job Duties
- Prepare pastry food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
- Stock, maintain and ensure proper storage and refrigeration of an adequate supply of all prepared product
- Develop new products for a-la-carte and catering menus, as needed
- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
- Display and set baked products on mobile carts according to specifications
- Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items
