Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years of relevant pastry and bakery experience
  • prior work experience in a hotel or resort environment
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • capability to follow recipes and maintain food safety protocols
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • excellent attention to detail
  • reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of pastry and bakery experience
  • previous experience in a hotel setting
  • knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation
  • ability to develop and innovate menu items
  • understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • adaptability to work flexible schedules

Job Duties

  • Prepare pastry food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
  • stock, maintain and ensure proper storage and refrigeration of an adequate supply of all prepared product
  • develop new products for a-la-carte and catering menus, as needed
  • practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
  • display and set baked products on mobile carts according to specifications
  • prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items
