Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a bakery or culinary setting preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team

Job Duties
- Prepare pastry and baking items according to established recipes, production guidelines, and Hyatt brand standards
- Assist team with daily production for restaurants, banquets, and special events
- Execute basic pastry techniques while developing speed, accuracy, and consistency
- Work assigned stations independently while following direction and supervision as needed
- Maintain proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all pastry ingredients and finished products
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pastry work environment
- Communicate effectively with pastry leadership and culinary team members
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continuously improve skills
- Support overall kitchen operations and assist with additional tasks as assigned by management
