Job Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Minimum one year cooking experience in a standalone restaurant or hotel
- Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods during the shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds
- Must be able to work in extreme temperatures such as freezers and kitchens
- Trustworthy and have integrity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum one year of cooking experience in a standalone restaurant or hotel
- Experience in luxury hotel environments is a plus
- Passionate about baking and pastry creation
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and culinary techniques
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a team environment
Job Duties
- Prepare the highest quality of food products for the restaurant and banquets according to menu descriptions and hotel standards
- Mentor Cook III and kitchen staff providing guidance and support as needed
- Maintain in depth knowledge of food products as well as sanitation standards and culinary techniques to execute dishes at the highest level
- Regularly restock kitchen supplies and food items along with maintaining the cleanliness of your area
- Fulfill guest orders in a timely manner with skillful attention to detail
- Work in a collaborative environment while maintaining professionalism
- Deliver on guests' expectations and create WOW moments
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
