Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in pastry or baking preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and ensure production requirements are met for banquet desserts, outlet pastries, breads, and breakfast pastries
  • Monitor the age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain highest quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
  • Keep all refrigeration equipment, storage, and working areas clean and clutter free in compliance with health department regulations
  • Develop new products for a-la-carte and catering menus as needed
  • Display and set baked products on mobile carts according to specifications
  • Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items
